uhm you seriously need to check out bax boots. i was in awe when i saw how well they fitted me and i had almost given up on boots because i never got it right. i showed my friends and they fell for them too. they got an amazing script that makes them fit any legs, fat, skinny you name it and the best thing is they do the fitting in the store for you for free. highly recommended.

A word of caution: Don't forget where the 'show color under cursor' is so that you can uncheck when finished. Else those RGB numbers will be in all your photographs. :/ (Spoken from experience...) Here's a really good tutorial that illustrates exactly what Ariadne describes. :)

There's a good way to match skin colour: go to the advanced menu and then UI, and right at the bottom you see 'show color under cursor'. You then get the RGB values of WHEREVER your cursor is, shown at the bottom right of your screen in white (small figures, and you need a darkish background!)

For feet, click on one of the paler areas of your skin, and then copy the values into the dialogue box for your prim toes.

This also helps when tinting modifiable clothes, btw: for instance the other day I needed a muddy teal coloured scarf to match a top, so I just clicked on the top, and copied the values to a white scarf.

@Pink! I am going to check INDI out soon. I need people to buy my stuff at the fair so I can afford more boots! The fat pack is a super deal at J's. And I am happy that you are sold on these boots. I also want to check out SLink's newer boots as she's the creator of the texture boots I adore so much.

You sold me on those boots! I'm going to grabs a couple pairs myself. :))
INDI sells some nice ones too -- very reasonably priced and they fit us thick-legged chickies perfectly right out of the box. You might want to check them out.

Thanks for the great post!

My shoe cannot be resized. I do this to maintain the design integrity you appear to appreciate. So when you resize the ankle to the point where it looks to big - it probably is too big and you should wear a bigger shoe size which is in the box. Just unpack them all - SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE. And of course if you want a perfect fit out of the box without refitting and resizing , well you have my free catwalk shape. If you have an ankle gap , well this could be expected with different shape avatars , just grab it and move it down or up as required so it fits well.

Before i "piss off" with my design compliment I offer you Oscar Wilde in return "The only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about" so thank you for your words ..does that mean we are friends ?
